Other Richard Armitage Fan SitesYou probably know the most popular sites in the Richard Armitage fandom. Here I'm going to recommend ones which I found displayed well on my old crummy computer, with Netscape 4. Richard Armitage Online. A full-fledged and extremely comprehensive fan site for Mr. Armitage. Displays well in Netscape 4, though the top "drop down" menu does not show up. You will have to navigate through the site by clicking on the small text links at the bottom of each page. Site design is clean and easy to follow. Video clips (in streaming Flash) may not display if you do not have the latest version of Flash installed. Some pages have a lot of images which may take a long time to load. Foolishpassion.org. North & South fan videos, and information on making fan videos. Displays acceptably well in Netscape 4. Not as "pretty" as when viewed in Netscape 6 or above, but you'll be able to get around. The fan video section has many downloadable dial-up files, but some may not play on old computers. (You'll find many of the same videos here, in MPEG-1 format.) The fan video tutorial section may have heavy graphic use, which will slow the page loading for those on dial-up. Richard-Armitage.net. General Richard Armitage fan site, with a focus on media (video and graphics). Displays acceptably well in Netscape 4. Like with Richard Armitage Online, you'll have to navigate through the site via the small text links at the bottom of the page. Some of the video clips and fan videos are in the MPEG-1 or Sorenson 3 format, which will play on older software. Foolishpassion.com. Comprehensive North & South fan site. Will display acceptably in Netscape 4. Many text articles to read. Some of the fan video downloads are good for dial-up, but may not all play on older software/hardware. Some pages are graphics heavy, but in general not over-laden with images. More links will be listed when I have the time to test them on my old computer.
